2 Thessalonians 3
* Persistent Prayer for Ministry: Paul asks for prayers that the Word of God spreads rapidly and is honored, and for protection from unreasonable and wicked men.
* Confidence in God’s Faithfulness: Even in times of trouble, believers can trust that the Lord is faithful, establishing them and protecting them from the evil one.
* The Responsibility of Work: Paul commands believers to live quietly, work diligently, and earn their own living rather than being a burden to others or becoming "busybodies".
* The "No Work, No Food" Principle: A strong exhortation against laziness, instructing that those who refuse to work should not be supported by the community, setting a standard of personal responsibility.
Perseverance in Good Works: Encouragement not to grow weary in doing good, despite trials or the laziness of others.
* Discipline and Separation from Disorderly Conduct: The church is told to withdraw from members walking in disobedience (specifically idleness), not as enemies, but to correct them through loving, firm admonition.
* A Prayer for Peace: A desire for the Lord to give peace, always and in every way, ensuring His presence with all.
